General Information Admission to the Philippine Science High School is through the PSHS National Competitive Examinations where applicants belong to the upper 10% of the country's graduating elementary students. Selection of PSHS scholars is through a national ranking system where applicants are ranked from highest to lowest based on their scores in these examinations. Lateral Admission is allowed only in the second year where transfer students are admitted to fill in vacated slots after passing an accreditation examination.
What is the Philippine Science High School? The Philippine Science High School (PSHS) is a scholarship school which offers a special science curriculum to students with aptitude for Science and Mathematics. Upon graduation from PSHS, the students are expected to enroll in courses leading to degrees in sciences, mathematics or engineering.

many campuses are there?
There are seven PSHS campuses. The main campus is at Diliman, Quezon City. The other campuses are located in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya; Goa, Camarines Sur; Palo, Leyte; Iloilo City; Baloi, Lanao del Norte; and Davao City.
How many first year students are admitted to the PSHS each year?The PSHS admits 780 first year students each year. The PSHS Main Campus admits 240 students while each regional campus admits 90 students. Therefore, a maximum of 360 scholars can be accommodated at any regional campus, while 960 scholars are accommodated in the Main Campus.
